Their custom reading journey

A path built exactly for your child's needs

No two children start in the same place, so no two journeys look the same. The assessment sets the starting line and heads straight for what your child needs next.

Your child sees a map with their name on it, treasure to open and a gate at the end of every grade. You see a plan a reading teacher would write. Same journey.

Carrots for reading. Outfits for carrots.

Every right answer earns carrots. Three in a row earns them faster. Reading improves quietly over months; carrots are the progress your child can see today.

Mystery boxes drop in now and then, and a leaderboard shows other Readee readers in their grade, first names only. Most kids end up chasing their own best week.

150 carrots buys a new outfit

Five carrots a step, doubled at three right in a row and tripled at five. One short session.

What ten minutes is made of

The same shape every time. Knowing exactly what the next ten minutes holds is what lets a child start without bracing for it.

  1. First 60 seconds

    A warm-up

Something quick they can already do, before the part that stretches them.

  2. The next few minutes

    One lesson

Explicit, sound-first phonics, written by a reading teacher. Every word has audio, so one they cannot read yet never stops them.

  3. Then

    A few practice questions

Skills come back on a schedule, not once and never again.

  4. And to finish

    A story

At their level, read along with them, with questions at the end.

And what it does not do

A child who already believes reading is their weak subject does not need an app that agrees with them.

No clock on an answer
Practice opens with a three, two, one, and after that a child can take as long as they need. Nothing counts down while they are thinking.
A wrong answer does not buzz
The bunny scratches its head and Luna explains the word. There is no red cross, no sound of failure, and no score shown to anyone else.
No ads, ever
Nobody is buying your child's attention on Readee. There is nothing to click out to and nothing being sold to them.
No strangers
The leaderboard is other Readee readers in their grade, by first name. There is no chat, no messages and no way for anyone to contact your child.
