Readee

Big reading adventures start here.

Start with a reading check, then follow a path of lessons chosen for your child. There’s a bunny to keep them company along the way.

01 / The free reading assessment

Know what to practice next.

Luna guides your child through reading words, reading short passages aloud, and answering questions about what they read and hear. We look at which words they can read, how accurately and smoothly they read a passage, and how well they understand it. You’ll get a clear report showing their strengths and the skills that need more practice. Those results help us build their custom reading journey, so you know where they’re starting and why.

Jennifer Klingerman, Readee co-founder and reading teacher

Meet the teacher behind Readee.

Ms. Klingerman teaches third grade and has a master’s in reading. She started Readee after seeing too many children struggle with skills they’d never been taught. Her lessons give families a way to work on those skills at home, ten minutes at a time.

Alongside those lessons, your child can practice reading aloud with Luna, our virtual reading tutor.
